Ogume is a community located in Ndokwa West local government area of Delta State in southern part of Nigeria. The e Ogume people they speak Ukwuani language, they are the part of the Ukwuani ethics group. Which is connected to cultural group. They are among the Anioma group.
Ogume has a rich cultural heritage in Africa as a whole. They are well know among the Ukwuani speaking community.

The elders of land and community leader (youth chairman) are custodian of the law in Ogume community. The most oldest man is head of community which is called Opalaku in Ogume is the head there.
